 If you require fire, ballistics and impact protected ULC S655 aboveground fuel storage, Fireguard® tanks from AGI Westeel are the perfect choice. These tanks meet all the most stringent fire codes and regulations — ensuring that your entire system is fully compliant and secure. Fireguard tanks offer added protection from fire and ballistic events by utilizing a proprietary, lightweight insulation material with similar properties to concrete but without the weight. This 3-inch layer of protective material acts as an insulator, keeping the fuel safe from external elements and preventing catastrophic fires or expensive leaks. Fireguard tanks exceed the ULC S655 2-hour fire test at a weight that is 75% lighter than concrete clad tanks. The unique design of the tank preserves the interstitial monitoring capabilities.

The Fireguard tank is compatible with a wide variety of fuels, including diesel, gasoline, aviation and jet fuels, heating oil, biodiesel and ethanol. It can also be customized to suit your needs and built in horizontal and rectangular designs. Fireguard tanks can also be divided into separate internal compartments, allowing for the storage of different fuels in the same tank. This division eliminates the risk of fuel contamination, a versatile option where various fuel types are required in specific applications.
